TrueVelocity ("we", "our", or "the App") is a Shopify embedded application that helps merchants monitor inventory levels, predict sales velocity, and generate restocking recommendations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.
By installing the App, you agree to the data processing practices described in this policy.
We only read line item information from orders for sales volume calculation. We do not collect customer names, addresses, payment information, or any other end-consumer personal data.
We do not sell your data to any third party.
The App uses the following third-party services:

The App requests the following Shopify API permissions:
We only request read-only permissions. We will not modify any data in your store.
The App does not directly collect or store any personally identifiable information of end consumers (your customers). We only process aggregated order sales data.
When Shopify sends a customer data request (customers/data_request) or a customer data deletion request (customers/redact), since we do not store consumer personal data, we acknowledge receipt and return a success response.
Sales history data retained for the most recent 90 days.
Sales history data retained for the most recent 13 months.
We will permanently delete all data associated with the store, including products, sales records, alert logs, subscription information, and sharing links.
The App operates as a Shopify embedded application and does not use independent cookies or third-party tracking technologies. Session management is handled through Shopify's Session Token mechanism.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or email. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
